Liberation of Naboo - Heist at Kappa Base

The Imperial hold on Naboo has begun to falter, and Kappa base, located on the southern plains, is one of the last Imperial strongholds remaining. A Rebel strike team, consisting of several of the most (in)famous faces in the Alliance, makes an attempt to capture one of the most powerful weapons of war on Naboo, an ancient Hailfire Droid.

"Heist at Kappa Base" is the first of a three-part Liberation of Naboo series, using original maps and storyline designed by Matthew Lee.

This mission uses the Supply Depot map, available at starwars.mattylee.com.

Special Scenario Rules

Hailfire: The Rebel player may gain 2 points for activating the Hailfire Droid. The Rebel player may capture the droid by moving Kai Naberrie into an adjacent square and slicing into it's computer core. Slicing is a full round action and requires a save of 11. Once the Hailfire is activated, it is controlled by the Rebel player for the rest of the skirmish. It has normal stats, but its armor is damaged (cannot use DR 10) and lacks the armament to use it's missiles (cannot use Missiles 40).
Better Off Dead: Either player may gain 1 point for destroying the Hailfire Droid. The Imperials cannot destroy the Hailfire droid until it has been activated. Once it has been activated, the Rebel's may not choose to destroy it.
Fight Another Day: Either player may choose to retreat any characters, by leaving the map through the area adjacent to their starting grid. Any characters that escape will be available for use in Part 2 of Liberation of Naboo. Additionally, any characters that remain on the board at the end of the game will also be used in Part 2. Both sides will have limited forces in Part 2, so any characters that survive this mission will be very helpful. The one exception to this is Inquisitor Draeva, who will not, under any circumstances, retreat.
Rebel Scum: The Imperial player gains 1 point for each "Rebel Hero" that is defeated.
